Caddo Lake Guide Fishing Report Detail Date: March 18, 2006 Best Method: Site Fishing Best Depth: 1 Best Lure: Flukes Best Color: Pumpkin Water Temp: 60 Water Clarity: Stained Report: The bite on Caddo Lake is on. The fish are on the cypress trees. Flukes seem the best way to go. I"ve seen beds everywhere, mostly on knots on side of the tree. There are also some big fish being caught on lay downs. You can go to the clean banks and catch them also. Fish lizards and brushhogs. I'm catching them in 8" of water. The bite will be good for the next couple of months.
