Caddo Lake Guide Fishing Report Detail Date: November 6, 2006 Best Method: Jigging for perch Best Depth: 10ft Best Lure: crappie jigs Best Color: green / red Water Temp: 60 Water Clarity: clear Report: The white perch are starting to get in their winter holes. Fish between "Marthas Crossing and the "Government ditch" on the main channel. The yellow bass are on a feeding frenzy, you can easily catch hundreds. The perch fishing is better on overcast days. Fish the edge of the vegetation in 5-7 ft. of water. Jigs and shinners both working. We are catching between 30-100 per day. It all depends on the weather. The colder it gets, the better it will be.
