Caddo Lake Guide Fishing Report Detail Date: April 15, 2007 Best Method: Deeper Trees Best Depth: 6ft Best Lure: worm Best Color: black Water Temp: 64 Water Clarity: stain Report: We are starting to catch some really nice fish on the deeper trees around the islands. Most of the bass have already spawned. The last group will move up on the next full moon and finish out the spawn. Worms and brush hogs are working. The better bite is coming around the mid-day period. The perch are starting to head back into the deeper channels. Fish the bends on the buttom with shinners. Its time full the funniest time of the year. The bream are hot and heavy. With lake levels up, fish as far inside the tree islands as you can get. GOOD LUCK!!! return to report list
