The bigger bass will really start turning on when the water temps starts getting in the 70's. Black, brown and amber jigs fished on the La. side of the lake will be best. The bass seem to head out of the dying grass this time of year. Fish sandy clear banks with wood or trees. . If you have good wind, the spinnerbait will be at its peak time of the year. The bass will start feeing up for the winter. The crappie will start heading toward deeper water as the water cools. Alligator Bayou will be their first stop. Believe it or not, the bream are really tearing it up in the bayou. This is by far the best year I have seen for bream. GOOD LUCK!!! |
