Caddo Lake Guide Fishing Report Detail Date: July 1, 2009 Best Method: schoolies Best Depth: 8-12 Best Lure: topwater Best Color: chrome Water Temp: 85 Water Clarity: stain Report: Bass are schooling in and around the deeper cuts of the main river channel. The fish seem to do better around 10:00.Topwater baits are good when the fish are up. Watermelon flukes work when they go down. Also, I been trying dropshoting when they are down and doing fairly well. White bass are schooling early and late on the main lake near Rocky Point.
