Caddo Lake Guide Fishing Report Detail Date: April 25, 2006 Best Method: the bite before the storm Best Depth: 5ft Best Lure: did'nt matter Best Color: any dark Water Temp: 72 Water Clarity: stain Report: I probably had the best 40 mins. of fishing that I ever had today. As soon as the wind made a change today, the big fish went wild. You really don't realize what size fish is in this lake until they get really agressive. I was fishing a main lake point when the front come in. The wind started blowing so hard that I could'nt feel my bait. By the time I set the hook, they had already swallowed my baits. I had four rods on deck and caught fish on everyone one of them. I can't even tell you how much weight I think I had, all I know is that I have never caught a sack of fish that large in such a short period of time. I really can't give the exact location just yet, I have a tourney Sat. I doubt they will still be there, there will be a totally different wind Sat. If you check my report Sunday, I will tell all.
